Feldenkrais/Reiki
What is The Feldenkrais Method®?

The Feldenkrais Method
® is a method that awakens the brain to how the body is designed to move. It is deep core nervous system work. We all have patterns of holding, that cause us stress, tension and discomfort. It dives into those areas as we actually learn how our body lets things go, on a physical level. The two modalities are:
- Verbally directed private or group lessons called Awareness Through Movement Lessons®
- Functional Integration® - hands on lessons done on a bodywork table.
All lessons are designed to improve the function of the human being through thinking, moving, sensing and feeling. (For more information, Google:

What is Dorothy Kristin Hanna’s relationship to The Feldenkrais Method®?
Ms. Hanna has been a
Feldenkrais Practitioner since the early 90’s and served in pain management, working with over 10,000 patients within the medical field for 13 years. The
Feldenkrais Method became very successful in working with pain and Ms. Hanna’s in-depth knowledge of the nervous system became her primary focus. It became very easy for Ms. Hanna to work with pain and bring the pain level down relatively fast in a 50 minute session. Dorothy Kristin will share the principles of
Feldenkrais while training people in
Arodasi Relaxation Therapy.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is pure hands on healing. Ms. Hanna has been involved in hands on healing since 1996 when she earned the title “Reiki Master.” Ms. Hanna will share her experiences and will atune students to the title of Reiki Master if their interests lay in this field. This includes the study of Spiritual Healing, Shamanic Cranial Bodywork, Chakra Awareness and Balancing. (For more information, Google: Reiki )
